Fair Entry Registration Deadline

Registration for all 4-H and FFA projects (exception for Market Rabbits only) are due tomorrow, April 26th.  When registering as a 4-H member, please go to fairentry.com and click on the green button that says “Register with 4-H Online Account”.

To keep down the confusion of what I have seen so far…

  • All still projects must be registered
  • All Showmanship classes must be registered
  • All Cloverbuds must be registered.  If you do not see your Cloverbud on your list, click on add new exhibitor and their name should appear.  If you do not see it please contact Michael for help.
  • If you are taking only market rabbits you will not be registering until after rabbit tattooing.
  • If you are taking the market rabbit project and other projects, the “other” projects must be registered now.

Tri State Dairy Goat Clinic Being Held on May 18th

This free event is being held at the Williams County Fairgrounds in their Livestock Show arena from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Youth will be given the opportunity to learn about: Hoof Trimming, Disbudding, Castrating, Fitting and Shearing, Nutrition, Herd Management, Pack Goat, and Showmanship.  Lunch is provided and door prizes are available.  For more information contact Kayla Miller, 4-H Youth Development Educator in Fulton County, by e-mail at miller.5287@osu.edu or phone at 419-337-9210.

Fair Entry Registration Video

A video has been uploaded to YouTube regarding the registration process for Fair Entry.  All youth (both livestock and still) must register their projects through this entry system.  To reach Fair Entry from this screen please click on the following link: Fair Entry

The video with the registration process can be found by clicking this link: Fair Entry Registration Video

To cover the possible 3rd tagged animal for your project we have decided that the best method is to allow youth to register for 3 classes.  The fair rule states that a youth can only show in 2 classes so we will be deleting the class and animal that you do not bring to the fair.  The deletion of the animal will take place during weigh-in at the fair.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.  We are more than happy to help 🙂

Senior Profiles

Senior Profiles were e-mailed to all Seniors as well as their parent/guardian on Friday, April 12th.  If you are a senior and did not see the e-mail or need me to resend a profile sheet to you please let the office know.  The senior profile sheets, as well as a picture, are due no later than May 1st.
