Year in Review

Now that freshman year is over, I realize how much I have grown as a person and as a student. As a scholar, I learned the value of time management between juggling a heavy courseload along with extracurricular activities that interest. I’ve along learned that sometimes things do not go the way that you want them to and that’s ok! You have to bounce back and focus on the next assignment, exam, or event because you can’t change something that’s already happened. As a leader, I’ve worked towards becoming the co-president of a club that really intrigues me because of the combination of technology and science and I’m excited to see the progress and lessons that I will learn in the upcoming year. In general, some of the lessons I’ve learnt are that adversities should not hinder my progress and time management is an essential skill that will be very useful in the future. I plan to grow as a scholar by pursuing a Chemical Engineering degree.
