Global Awareness: I will try to spend a semester studying abroad, preferably in Europe. I feel that Europe is the perfect place to go because Europeans are very advanced in science so there is ample opportunity to work in research. It would also be interesting to see how European culture varies from our own.
Original Inquiry: To fulfill this goal, I will try to participate in undergraduate physics research. There are countless opportunities here at the Ohio State University, but I could also find a research opportunity in the city of Columbus or back at home in New Jersey over the summer.
Academic Enrichment: I will take plenty of rigorous, honor level courses throughout my career in college, especially in classes to pertain to my major.
Leadership Development: I will find a club on campus that I am very passionate about, most likely one to do with physics or volunteering. I was also very involved in a club at high school called Soccer for Hope, so I might try to start a chapter here.
Service Engagement: I will join a club that deals with community service and volunteering or start a Soccer for Hope club here at Ohio State and start brainstorming ways to start fundraisers and donation drives.
