About Me
Pragi Patel is a first year student from Canfield, Ohio, majoring in neuroscience on the pre-med track. She plans on entering the medical field with an MD after completing her undergraduate years at Ohio State. During her four years at Canfield High School, she served as vice president of Leo’s Club, treasurer of student council, and a member of the National Honor Society, all of which are organizations dedicated to community service. Her commitment to help others served as the primary factor in her decision to pursue a career in medicine. Pragi looks forward to volunteering in various community service projects through her involvement in the Health Sciences Scholars Program. She was also captain of the cross country team and plans on continuing her passion to run by joining Ohio State’s running club. She hopes to finish the Columbus Marathon before her four years here at Ohio State are over. Pragi also enjoys spending her free time cooking and reading.
