Henna Patel is a third-year undergraduate Morrill Scholar and Honors student at the Ohio State University. She is currently working towards a major in Biology and a minor in French. In the future, she hopes to build on her passion for medicine and patient care by pursuing an MD degree. She works as a Resident Advisor on campus, a Program Assistant for the “Buckeyes Inspire” program in OSU Recreational Sports, and an Office Assistant at the front desk of a residence hall on campus.

She is also very involved in service: she volunteers with a student organization called Volunteers Around the World where she has been on two medical outreach trips during her undergraduate career. Additionally, she volunteers as an HIV/STI Test Counselor through OSU’s Student Wellness Center.

Apart from work and school, she enjoys an array of different hobbies including amateur interior design, reading (anything from historical novels to comics), traveling, yoga, and cooking.

Her passions include medicine, educational equity, poverty alleviation, and arts and culture.
