The second annual Maxwell M. Fisher College of Business Pro-Am Sales Competition was held on September 24th, 2015. Competing in the event for a second time, I was able to once again walk away with an appreciation for the role of the sales profession, a comprehension of the sales process in a business to business setting, and, most importantly, the ability to verbally perform in a competitive environment.
This year while maintaining a logical, process-oriented approach along with a positive attitude, I earned a spot as a Top 10 finalist out of the 80 registered participants.
Overall, I was very pleased with the outcome of the competition. I plan to take the lessons I have learned along with me as I begin my professional journey after graduation in May 2017.
