Global Awareness: Students cultivate and develop their appreciation for diversity and each individual’s unique differences. For example, consider course work, study abroad, involvement in cultural organizations or activities, etc .

About Me

Academics have always been held to a high esteem in my life. I graduated at the Top 5% of my class (my high school does not do valedictorian/salutatorian) and I established myself in my community as someone who wasn’t going to let anything stop him from achieving his goals. I was very active in music in my school and the community. I played piano for many ensembles and performances, I sang for a variety of choral groups, and I played the Horn in a few bands at my school. At Ohio State, I plan to further both my academic prowess and my musicianship. I’ve always enjoyed taking advanced classes, so the Honors program will suit me perfectly. Growing up in a small town, I have always wanted to explore the world, and I intend to do so at Ohio State. Broadening my horizons and acquiring more knowledge are my main two goals during college, and exploring my major (Pharmaceutical Sciences) and its career options and networking are two of my professional goals for the future. While I am still very unsure about how I will go about all of this, I know I have the drive to accomplish what is set in front of me over the course of my journey at The Ohio State University.
