Hi! My name is Lay Pandya and I am a Biology Major with a focus of attending medical school. In fact, I am hoping to graduate in three years with an aim to receive admission to The Ohio State School of Medicine. I chose Bioscience Scholars because I wanted to be more exposed to medicine-related volunteering opportunities and establish connections with others who were also on the pre-med track. The traits I constantly saw exhibited in this program were of altruism and of determination to enable one to grow as an individual. From this program, I gained an invaluable, comprehensive understanding of serving the community and being exposed to places and people of various backgrounds, to which I would not been able to witness at my hometown.
