Team E Final Design

  

Team E’s final design was chosen due to it’s aerodynamic shape, ability to implement servo braking, and light weight. These factors contributed to the low energy costs, fulfilling the goal to create an energy efficient AEV. The code used for the AEV reduces the energy costs by implementing coasting and servo braking, while still keeping the time required for the run as low as possible. The design is easy to maintain and uses only the necessary materials, keeping the weight low while still making sure the AEV safely runs on the track. The team’s hope is to continue to develop the design by implementing light weight recycled materials, adding to our goal to create an energy efficient AEV both in the run and in the AEV itself.
