Come see the exhibition curated by the students of English 5194 (The History of the Book in Modernity), which asks the question, “What are the boundaries of a book?” Do covers, cases, and bindings really encompass these material forms? Where does a text end and a reader, or even a community begin? Join us as we examine texts that leave a lasting imprint and become “unbound” through use.
Open to the public 1-3 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 12, in Thompson Library 204
