OSU Young Professionals Network invites you to join us for an Emotional Intelligence workshop on December 20th from 2:30pm-4:00pm. Most of us know that there is a world of difference between knowledge and behavior or applying that knowledge to make changes in our lives. There are many things we may know and want to do, but don’t or can’t when we’re under pressure. This is especially true when it comes to emotional intelligence, or EQ. Most of us have learned not to trust our emotions. We’ve been told emotions distort the more “accurate” information our intellect supplies. But in this Emotional Intelligence session, we’re going to dig into what emotions *really* are, why emotional intelligence is the most unique and important part of the performance puzzle, and five key skills that one can practice to actually raise our EQ not only in the workplace, but at home as well.
