James Bergles HeadshotChair/Secretary: James Bergles

James Bergles currently works at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center as a Financial Analyst for the decision support and cost accounting department. He has been with the company for over a year now and is continuously learning and taking on new responsibilities.

James graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Finance and Economics and is currently pursing his M.B.A. here at The Ohio State University. He is excited to connect with new professionals in the area and looks forward to having a successful year with the OSUYPN.

Chair of Assessment: Kristine Cline

Kristine M. Cline, PharmD, MS, is an Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. In her current role, Kristine collaborates with other faculty and leads large teaching teams to educate undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy with her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2017 and a Master’s of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration in 2019. Kristine completed a PGY1/PGY2 Community-Based Pharmacy Leadership & Administration residency with The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and Kroger Health. Her interests include practice advancement, team development and culture, workforce issues, patient safety, and developing the next generation of pharmacists.

Chair of Communications: Jaimee Slover

Jaimee graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from The Ohio State University in 2020 and has worked for OSUWMC in the Radiology Department as an Administrative Coordinator since. In her role, she assists several division chiefs with administrative duties so they can focus on their clinical work.



Vice Chair of Communications: Kirby Bell

Kirby Bell works as the Sr Assistant Director in the Student Life, Student Conduct office. Kirby received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Regis University and Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel with a certificate in Internationalization of Higher Education from Kent State University. In her job, Kirby works with students and student organizations going through the student conduct process with a focus on protecting student rights and establishing accountability. Kirby’s passion areas are personal growth from challenging situations, trauma-informed care, and restorative practices within conduct systems. Outside of work you can often find Kirby taking her dog Duke for a walk or hanging out in her favorite coffee shop listening to a podcast.

Chair of Social Events: Sarah Susi

Sarah is a three-time graduate of The Ohio State College of Nursing: BSN, 2006; MS, 2018; and DNP, 2021. She has had the opportunity to work at the medical center since 2005 in a variety of roles and positions. She currently resides in Worthington with her large family and enjoys coaching youth sports. Sarah looks forward to serving as a board member and offering a unique perspective.




Ashleigh Pona HeadshotVice Chair of Social Events: Ashleigh Pona

Dr. Pona is a clinical health psychologist at OSUMC where she provides assessment and treatment services to bariatric surgery patients. She obtained her doctoral degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completed her pre-doctoral internship at West Virginia University School of Medicine, and her post-doctoral fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Through OSUYPN, Dr. Pona hopes to create social opportunities that will bring employees together and help them feel more connected to our work community.


Chair of Professional Development: Brian Javor

Brian Javor has worked for The Ohio State University for 6 years, and currently serves as Administrative Coordinator to University Marketing. As Administrative Coordinator, Brian manages a student intern experience initiative and facilitates fiscal implementation of enterprise-wide social media and marketing technology contracts.

Professionally, Brian endeavors to improve his public speaking skills, continue application-based learning of Swift and other coding languages, and grow expertise in the university’s request for proposal (RFP) process. In his personal life, Brian identifies as a podcast nerd, short fiction reader, and an amateur, multi-sport athlete.

Chair of Professional Development: Dionna Pegs

Faculty Advisor: Arick Forrest

Arick Forrest received his medical degree from The Ohio State University. He completed a general surgery internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, a residency at The Ohio State University and a laryngology fellowship at Vanderbilt University.

In 2011, Dr. Forrest was named Medical Director of Ambulatory Services for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.  He is also Vice Dean of Clinical Affairs and President of The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. (OSUP) and Faculty Group Practice.
