During our scholarship celebration, Yanty shared her story about how the late Dr. Charles Hancock impacted her life and her research.
Yanty was one of Dr. Hancock’s advisees from 2010 until the end of his life. “I felt really blessed to be his student, advisee and to know him personally,” she said. “He was such a great mentor to me and was with me all the way to my candidacy exam.”
“I felt he was with me during the candidacy oral defense with his sincere support and encouragement.”
After graduation, Yanty hopes to return to her home country of Indonesia to serve as a faculty member and researcher.
Congrats Yanty! You deserve it!
