Seed Starting

Seeds are growingThe Students at Rothenberg Preparatory Academy in Cincinnati are part of the exciting program, 4-H Agri-Science in the City!  In preparation for spring the students at Rothenberg have started seeds for various gardens at the school and around their community.

They have started 240 Tomato Seeds, 120 Sweet Peppers, 30 hot peppers and are experimenting with starting zucchini seeds under different conditions.

There was excitement this week when the students returned from spring break to find their small plants beginning to emerge from the soil.

Check out the progress and feel free to share your experiences with seed starting.
