About Me

My name is Lillian Ostrander and I am just finishing my freshman year at The Ohio State University majoring in Environmental Science. I am from a town outside of Cleveland called Auburn Township. I am passionate about environmental issues and am interested in studying how agriculture impacts the environment and how their interactions can be improved. Outside of class I work at the main office of the School of Environment and Natural Resources, where I have met lots of great people who run my department. Over the summer, I will start a research assistant position in a horticultural molecular biology lab, with hopes to expand my research interests next fall. My outside hobbies include quilting, hiking, and spending time with my two collies, Simba and Sasha.
