G.O.A.L.S.

A truly well-rounded student embodies every aspect of G.O.A.L.S. into their lives, and I plan to live up to that challenge. To satisfy the Global Awareness component, I plan to take coursework revolving other unique cultures – I am taking a class on East Asian art history next semester, and plan to fully immerse myself in that culture. I am also actively pursuing research opportunities for the Original Inquiry facet. Every part of research, from finding new answers to gaining problem solving experience, is invaluable to any student and I plan to actively participate in it to maximize my time here at Ohio State. Furthermore, I am taking a rigorous and extensive course load for Academic Enrichment. Honors courses and helpful, yet not required, courses litter my academic plan to best prepare me for medical school and beyond. I plan to grow my leadership qualities through gaining leadership positions at clubs and organizations here at Ohio State for Leadership Development – being a leader is extremely important for future endeavors, academic and work-related, and Ohio State is a great place to develop the skills needed to be a good leader. Finally, I am carrying out Service Engagement through volunteering at University Hospital, and I plan to participate in many other service opportunities throughout my time in college.

About Me

I am a first year at The Ohio State University in the Honors program pursuing a degree in Biology/ Pre-Health Professions. I have a passion for helping others, and I plan to attend medical school to further satisfy that passion.
