Artifacts

I went to the Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship (APTE) Day of Impact. This event focused on a self sustainable global service project. My group was about minorities, and we focused on LBGTQ+ youth in Jamaica. This day really opened my eyes to the hugeness of helping others in need, and how a simple idea can spark an entire project. We focused on serving communities around the world, further than just the United States border.

About Me

Hello! My name is Areli. I am a student at The Ohio State University. I am enrolled in the Max M. Fisher College of Business. My specialization is marketing, and I am also minoring in Social Psychology. I love it! I am currently involved in the Major Campus Events Committee (MCEC), as one of two marketing co-chairs. Here, we plan and run all of the major campus events, including homecoming, commencement, and the student involvement fairs. I am in Mirrors Sophomore Honorary, and love working with both cohorts. My other major involvement is Students for Diversity in Education through Service (SDES). I am the treasurer of the student organization, which focuses on providing service and learning workshops around the LGBTQ+ community in OSU and the greater Columbus Area.
