For classrooms and conference rooms, faculty and staff will need to launch the Skype for Business application on that computer. Look for the “Skype for Faculty and Staff” icon.
Once the application opens you will be presented with the log in screen.
Enter your Ohio State email address of lastname.#@osu.edu into the Sign-in address field.
The Sign-in as: list is your presence and allows you to predetermine the availability you will show to other users when you first log in. The default option is Available but you can choose whatever fits your needs. Please see Skype for Business 2016 – Presence for more details.
You will also need to click the Sign-In button to start the sign in process.
The first time you log in you will need to provide your password. You will need to enter the password you use for your lastname.#. If you are having trouble with the password you can reset it at my.osu.edu or you may contact the IT Service Desk at 614-688-HELP(4357) or through the Self Service site at http://ocio.osu.edu/selfservice.
Once you have entered the password click the Sign In button to complete the log in process. You will be asked by the system if you would like Skype For Business to store your credentials to speed up your sign in process. You can click Yes or No to complete your sign in.
