Concept 1: Toothpaste Tube Attachment

Built By: Jon Scully

The toothbrush attachment attaches by screwing on where the toothpaste cap usually goes. The attachment has a handle attached for easy holding and aids in screwing and unscrewing the attachment. There is another piece that sticks out of the other side, which makes screwing the attachment on and off easier as well. The inside of the brush itself is hollowed out, with another hollowed out part through the middle of the toothbrush bristles, which allows toothpaste to easily flow through, when the bottle is squeezed. The attachment can be left on the toothpaste bottle until it is empty.

Concept 2: Shaving Cream Can Attachment

Built By: Anthony Keeton

The brush on top is hollowed out and fits over store bought shaving canisters. The elastic outside rubber of the attachment fits around the canister and has a plastic piece sticking out of the bottom for easy removal. The top has a red press button that allows the user to dispense the shaving cream into the brush. Inside (under the red press button), there is a small plastic cylinder shaped ½ inch piece that presses the release on the canister. This attachment allows the user to effectively apply shaving cream without a huge mess.

Concept 3: Throwaway Toothpaste Dispenser with Detachable Reusable Brush

Built By: Mikey France

The throw away toothpaste dispenser dispenses toothpaste when the bottom lever is pushed up. Once empty, it is to be thrown away. At the base of the brush there is a rubber piece that allows you to press upwards on for removal and also allows the dispenser to securely stay on (air tight). The inside of the toothbrush attachment is hollowed out allows the toothpaste to come out of the center of the bristles.

Concept 4: The Nail Biter

Built By: Nick Damko

The nail biter consists of two main components: The mouthpiece and the nail clippers. The mouthpiece covers both the upper and lower rows of teeth, and can be molded to the user similar to other mouthpieces on the market. The clippers are essentially the same as traditional nail clippers, but are attached to the upper and lower parts of the mouthpiece via small hinges (similar to those on various forms of orthodontic equipment). As the user bites down, the clippers clip the finger nail. Because the nail biter allows the user to clip nails with a non-extremity part of the body, it can be used by a person without dual-hand functionality.

Concept 5: The Shower Wand Pod

Built By: Payton Ziegler

The shower wand pod has two parts: the wand and the refillable plastic pod. The wand detaches from the pod, allowing for in hand pod use as well as with it being on the end of the wand. The pods are refillable and reusable, with the operator able to fill them from where the wand inserts into the pod. There is a button on the end of the wand that controls the flow of liquid soap through the soft scrubbing pad. There is also a window on the side of the pod so that the amount of soap is easily known. This refillable wand pod makes it easier for those with only the use of one hand to apply liquid soap.
