In Spanish, “onda” means wave, wavelength, or a general energy and flow. Founded by faculty members from the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the initiative serves to promote and archive the cultures, aesthetics, and kinetics of Latinas in Ohio. The aim of this blog is to identify, cultivate, and archive different ways that Latinas and Latinxs (a term allied with gender queer identities) come together and make Ohio their creative home.

Submit! Send your 400-600 submission with a related image dealing with the cultural life of Latinxs in the Midwest to Paloma Martinez-Cruz: martinez-cruz.2@osu.edu.
