Mandalas and Symmetry
Mandalas are circular, geometric designs holding spiritual symbolism in Hindu and Buddist cultures. They contain symmetrical patterns organized around a central focal point.
The symmetry of mandalas is rotational symmetry. When we spin the mandala, less than a full rotation of the circle, we see the same pattern repeated.
You can make your own mandala using a repetition of shapes to create a pattern. To enable a circular, symmetrical, pattern, start with a grid as in the diagram on the left. Then, let your creativity flow!
You can draw a mandala. There are endless ways to draw a mandala, here’s a step-by-step process if you would like one.
How about drawing one using chalk on the sidewalk and sharing its beauty with others.
You can create a nature mandala. Go outside to gather a basket of leaves, seeds, flowers, pinecones, twigs, and/or pebbles to create your design.

That was an excellent post! I had no clue Mandalas and meditations were so popular. I’ve been researching and reading a lot about mandalas lately. I’m interested if any of you have any other resources to provide. It appears that finding the most up-to-date information on the website is challenging. I stumbled noticed a handful of relevant websites.https://www.pranalink.com/blog/post/meditation-and-mandala/?utm source=referrer&utm medium=organic is one of the websites. The majority of the website does not update regularly enough to assist me in learning more quickly. Is there anyone willing to assist?
