Hello all! I hope everyone has had a great first week (almost two) at OSU. Personally, I have had a wonderful time adjusting to my new life here. My semester started off bright and early on August 17, when I packed the car and hit the road with my family and boyfriend at 6am. I moved in fairly quickly, and then my ”Move-In Crew” and I went out for one last meal before they departed. We chose Ethyl & Tank, where I got a waffle sandwich (it was beyond delicious).

Speaking of trying new foods, I have had a good time trying many dining locations, on and off campus. Catfish Biff’s Pizza was very good, and I have visited Vivi’s Bubble Tea at least three times since moving here. Mirror Lake Eatery’s legendary chicken strips were not as good as Sloopy’s, though!
TBDBITL was easily the best part of the night.
In addition to exploring my food options, I have had a lot of fun going to different Welcome Week events and places around campus. Buckeye Kickoff was cringe-worthy at points (opening a can of Coke for all the freshmen? What?), but it was overall a great memory I will cherish forever. It was my first time in Ohio Stadium, and I immediately loved it. The Shoe has held many great moments in history, and I hope I will be there for many more. I hope that I will make many great moments on this campus in the future, and that this campus will lend itself to a plethora of memories during the next four years.
