Living off campus next year? If so, consider joining Ohio State’s Community Ambassador and Commuter Liaison program! Office of Student Life’s Off-Campus and Commuter Student Engagement is looking for qualified, motivated and passionate employees to apply to be Community Ambassadors or Commuter Liaisons for the 2015-2016 school year.
Community Ambassadors (CAs) work with students living off-campus, keeping them engaged with the University by providing relevant information for the off-campus neighborhood. CAs serve as the liaison between the University and the residents on their off-campus streets through fun, engaging community building events. Please visit our website or contact Kelly Simpkins at simpkins.49@osu.edu for more information. Community Ambassador applications and resumes are due Tuesday, March 24th at 8 a.m.
Commuter Liaisons (CLs) in the Office of Student Life advocate for the commuter student population, serve as mentors to first-year commuters, and strive to ensure commuter student retention at Ohio State. The Commuter Liaisons also manage the Commuter Student Organization and plan and execute programs and events. Please direct any further questions to Amanda McCann at mccann.119s@osu.edu. Commuter Liaison applications and resumes are due Wednesday, April 1st by 11:59 p.m.
CAs and CLs will work approximately 8-10 hours per week, flexible around their class schedules, at a starting hourly rate of $8.30. CA applications can be found here and CL applications can be found here.
