The Office of Curriculum and Scholarship is excited to offer a Mock Presentation Service designed specifically for students, staff, and faculty of the College of Medicine. This service aims to enhance presentation skills, boost confidence, and provide constructive feedback in a supportive environment.

What is the Mock Presentation Service?

The Mock Presentation Service provides an opportunity to practice and refine your presentation skills in front of a live audience. Participants will receive personalized feedback and tips to improve their delivery and content.

Who is eligible to participate?

This service is open to all students, staff, and faculty members of the College of Medicine, including medical students, fellows, and residents.

Service Format

  • Practice Sessions: Participants can schedule practice sessions to present their materials as they would in a real-world scenario.
  • Feedback: Detailed feedback will be provided on presentation style, content, and delivery.
  • Online or Live: Option to have the presentation in-person or online.
  • Q&A Preparation: Tips and practice for handling audience questions

How to Participate

  1. Sign Up: Register for the service by filling out the consultation request form.
  2. Schedule a Conversation with Our Research Specialists: Once you contact us, we’ll reach out to schedule a brief 15-minute meeting to discuss your specific needs and determine what kind of feedback would be most useful for you. During that time, we’ll schedule your mock presentation.
  3. Prepare Your Presentation: Bring your presentation materials to the mutually agreed upon time and place and be ready to present as you would in a real scenario.
  4. Receive Feedback: Engage in a feedback session with our reviewers to discuss your strengths and areas for improvement.
