IES Methods Training – EBIs

EBITE:  Evidence-based Intervention Training for Education.

In 2020, I received a 3-year Methods Training grant from the Institute for Education Sciences (IES) in collaboration with colleagues at OSU and at Ohio University. Our goal is to strengthen capacity among schools, districts, and their higher-education partners for selection and use of evidence-based interventions (EBITE). Our training involves a week-long summer workshop coupled with academic-year coaching, and participation is fully supported by IES.

Our first cohort (2021-22) targeted Ohio schools, districts and higher-education institutes. Cohort 2 (2022-2023) brings participants from schools, districts, HEIs and education agencies across the U.S.  For application information for Cohort 3 (summer 2023) and further details, please visit our EBITE WEBPAGE at u.osu.edu/ebitraining or click here!

EBITE researchers presented at the recent Evidence-based School Counseling Conference on March 11-12th, 2022. Click here for a pdf of our presentation.
