  • Vice President: I assist in planning weekly meetings along with campus outreach events

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • CPR and Lifeguard Certified
  • Relevant Courses to be completed by May 2016: General Chemistry 1&2, HSS Seminar, Physiology, Statistics, Physics, Environmental Science, Organic Chemistry, Biology 2

WORK EXPERIENCE

Shannondale Mahogony Swim Club, Portage, MI

Lifeguard (May 2013-Present, seasonal summer position)

  • Ensure safety of patrons, routine checks of the facility, and swim lessons.
  • Worked 20 hours a week

Binder Park Zoo, Battle Creek, MI

Overnight Interpreter (Summer 2016)

  • Executed weekend overnight camps for various groups in the zoo
  • Responsible for animal presentations, conservation education, group safety, and zoo tours

Cat Welfare Association, Columbus Ohio

Volunteer (Fall 2015-present)

  • Socialize cats once a week in a safe manner so they are ready to be adopted
  • 1 hour a week
