Milestone #1 Reflection

At this point in the project, I feel I have a good grasp on the scope of my project and the time it will take to complete the tasks.  One of the biggest advantages I have going into this project is my status as a Subject Matter Expert alongside my colleagues who are serving as my client and stakeholders.  Though the project is somewhat large in scope, I am already familiar with much of the information it will cover, which will allow me to move more quickly in accomplishing each task.

For the pitch presentation, I used Adobe Spark to create the slides and audio.  This was my first time using Adobe Spark, as I recently was issued an iPad with the software installed as part of my university technology package.  While the program was easy to use, I was not satisfied with the end result.  Unfortunately, ease of use came at the cost of reduced control and functionality.  I could not change slide transitions, record more than 30 seconds of dialogue per slide, and the layouts were extremely limited.  In the future, I would use a program with increased function and the possibility of creativity, such as Prezi or even Adobe Premiere.
