Final Client Presentation
Reflection
My final client presentation felt like the culmination of my whole semester of work. At first, I felt a little silly doing a formal presentation for my client, since she is also my co-worker and we have shared a close working relationship for the duration of the project. For the presentation, I was able to include a few other colleagues who have been interested in the project which made it a more fun and interesting presentation, since I was able to explain the project process to some folks who had not been as closely involved and they were able to ask me some questions. n the end, I am grateful I did the client presentation because it gave me the opportunity to reflect on the project as a whole and present this summer’s work in a cohesive way. It was a validating experience for me, which is not necessarily an outcome I expected.
I created a short client satisfaction survey which was completed by Dianna Truax. You can review the survey here. I am grateful that she gave me and our project an excellent review. I think her satisfaction with the project’s final iteration is due in large part to our open and frequent communication throughout the semester. I think my status as a SME was also helpful in determining the project goals and outcomes. If I had not been a SME, I think that the lines of communication between myself and the client (as well as other stakeholders) would have been even more critical.
