Another day in Norway

May 30, 2025I started my day with a 7:30 am run. I must admit that I have never been much of arunner because I personally like more lifting weights or doing hot yoga, but in Norwayrunning in the morning has become a way of life. I love the feeling of fresh air, cleanstreets, and the safety of running in nature. While I was running, I saw other peoplerunning and many people walking to work or school. I also noticed that not many peopleare overweight in Norway, which I think is because they have the opportunity to walk towork or to different places, and because they have the possibility of having green areasto go for a run in the mornings like I do they can stay more active. My relatedsustainable goal for this blog, is number #15, which is life and land, because I feel thatthe U.S. and honestly the whole world should have the responsibility to provide moregreen areas for people to walk or run, to move more thus enhancing their healthphysically and mentally. People like me who exercise regularly, know the feeling of abetter and more positive mindset after spending time during some type of physicalactivity. Providing a safe green space allows the community to enjoy being outdoorsdoing something and not stuck at home scrolling on their phones. I also think thatpromoting terrestrial ecosystems can help all the animals and trees in those areas.

After my run I got ready to visit Omsorg +, but before heading there, I had to stop for ahot matcha and a delicious Focaccia Kylling & Mozzarella at Expresso house. Duringour time at Omsorg +, some Ohio State student won a chocolate star for exceeding atdifferent tasks… I loved our experience at Omsorg + and all the beautiful people I havemet there, and I was amazed by knowing that some of the residents are a hundred andsomething years old, which I am assuming that they can be that old and healthybecause of their lives walking around the beautiful streets of Norway!
