A Community of Inquiry Framework Resonates with my teaching style

Please watch this short Youtube video.  It is a visual depiction of the theory of “Community of Inquiry”.    I like this theoretical framework because as one who regularly teaches graduate nursing students I am aware that all of us, students and faculty have something to offer within our learning interactions.  As a faculty member, I think it is my role to support and maximize all possibilities for learning.  The 3 key areas for consideration are cognitive, social, and teaching presence within the learning community.  Again, by considering each key area it allows a framework for evaluation for me as a faculty member.  Watch and enjoy!
