About Me

I am from Watchung, New Jersey which is about forty-five minutes from New York City and I am an animal science major on the pre-vet track. I have been a ballet dancer since I was eight and was in the New Jersey Ballet Company during high school. I’ve volunteered at the Turtle Back Zoo and also enjoy volunteering at the animal shelter. After graduating from The Ohio State University, I plan on going to Veterinary school to become a small and exotic animal veterinarian. I am very into environmental sustainability, especially when it comes to animal rights and protection. I made a small documentary that was focused on plastic in our oceans and how it is affecting both humans and marine life. My target audience was young children in elementary school because I believe that the future state of our environment lands in the hands of the younger generations. Although we should all be doing as much as we can to contribute towards environmental sustainability, if we can create a good mindset towards saving our planet, the environment will be much better off. I tried to use only metal straws for the entire summer, and enjoyed influencing my friends to do it as well. I am also very big on endangered animals and like to donate to WWF. I also love to travel and see the natural environments and sights of different countries. It is my goal to travel to study exotic animals in maybe Australia, Africa, or Thailand. I think I’m a pretty adventurous person and want to try cliff-jumping. I also like to go camping, hiking, and kayaking.
