Class Description
Within my major I took a number of courses that provided Global content. There is this fictional class in Agricultural Education called the international dimension of agricultural education and it is AMAZING! We studied the impact of the Land Grant university around the world, the history of development including the inception of the Peace Corp and USAID, NGOs and the World Bank.
Class Reflection
Before this class I had no idea how vast and global agricultural education was. Did you know there such as thing as the FFJ and FFK? Or, that 4-H is in Africa? The impact of improving agricultural practices and resource conservation is vitally important and I am now more excited than ever to be part of this field I have chosen.
