NOTE: Due to the precautions taken by the university regarding COVID-19, all Writer’s Studio tutoring has been temporarily moved online. Please click here to discover how you can use the Writer’s Studio during this time.
Writer’s Studio peer writing consultants (or PWCs) do not simply edit or proofread papers; instead, we listen, question, comment, provide feedback, and make suggestions to help writers recognize the strengths and weaknesses of their writing. We also encourage writers to make suggestions of their own and engage in a discussion about their ideas.
Writers can drop in for an appointment if there is a tutor available or sign up for a thirty-minute or one-hour session that fits their schedule. You can even schedule a session right now. (Need help getting started? Click here to consult our guide on how to sign up for tutoring.)
If you have a quick question, need to cancel an appointment, or need assistance with scheduling, please visit our Virtual Front Desk where you can meet with one of our PWCs for assistance.
