NOTE: Due to the precautions taken by the university regarding COVID-19, much Writer’s Studio tutoring has been moved online. Please click here to discover how you can use the Writer’s Studio during the Autumn term.
Writer’s Studio peer writing consultants (or PWCs) do not simply edit or proofread papers; instead, we listen, question, comment, provide feedback, and make suggestions to help writers recognize the strengths and weaknesses of their writing. We also encourage writers to make suggestions of their own and engage in a discussion about their ideas.
Writers can drop in for an appointment if there is a tutor available or sign up for a thirty-minute or one-hour session that fits their schedule. You can even schedule a session right now. (Need help getting started? Click here to consult our guide on how to sign up for tutoring.)
