Students

Students are required to schedule a testing session via RegisterBlast at this link: https://www.registerblast.com/osu-newark/Exam/List

The video on this page provides step-by-step instructions for a request (such as make up test) through RegisterBlast:

A different video with instructions specifically for students who need to register for an appointment with accommodations is at: Accommodations-instructions-for-RegisterBlast video

BEFORE YOU SCHEDULE ONLINE, it is your responsibility to contact your instructor and to request to have your test provided to the testing center. Please share this link with your instructor for more information regarding how they can submit a test: https://u.osu.edu/newarktestingcenter/faculty/

All students must:

    • schedule a session at least 24 hours in advance
    • schedule a session with accommodation such as reader/scribe (authorized by SL-DS) at least 72 hours in advance
    • present a valid photo ID before taking the test (on campus or remotely).
    • special note: for people who do not have a driver’s license, Ohio provides state ID cards for FREE
    • bring their own writing utensil and, if needed, a calculator.
    • show up on time for the test; if a student shows up more than 15 minutes late (without contacting the center to inform us of lateness), the session will need to be rescheduled.

If you experience any problem with RegisterBlast, contact the Testing Center by phone at 740-366-9417 or by email at NWK-testingcenter@osu.edu

All tests are collected 15 minutes before the testing center closing time each day.

Only final exams may be scheduled in the testing center during the days final exams are administered in classrooms.
