About Me

I attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH for undergrad, where I majored in Physics and minored in Astronomy and Japanese.  I worked with Professor Robert Fesen researching Supernova Remnants (SNRs).  While I no longer work on SNRs, partially because Rob forbade me from continuing in graduate school in an effort to get me to diversify my research interests, SNRs hold a place in my heart.  You can get a lot of science out of them and a lot of pretty pictures.

I competed with five other students at Dartmouth in the International Physics Tournament in 2017, representing the USA for the first time in the competition’s history.  Out of 28 countries, we did not place last.  The highlight of the trip was a post-tournament visit to the ABBA museum in Stockholm.

In my year between graduating Dartmouth and beginning my time at OSU, I worked at the Apple store at the Oculus mall near the World Trade Center.  I still don’t know how to fix my phone.

If I’m not in the office or at home tending my monstera (formerly monsterae, RIP Juno), you can usually find me at Gateway Film Center, watching whatever cult-classic horror movie they happen to be showing.
