My workflow for this project I know I wanted to research something that could affect my major in a way. I started to do some research on the internet when I came across FCC putting a stop to net neutrality and thought that would be perfect since it involves computer science and engineering. I looked at a couple websites are there was not much out there at the moment to find information about putting a stop to net neutrality but I did the most I can. After doing some research I was wondering how I can make a page about this topic. I grabbed all the information and thought of some bullet points I can make to talk about and make some pictures. My first picture I noticed that the FCC logo looked like an open mouth so I thought it would be clever to add teeth to it and then have the net neutrality logo in my mouth to look like it is eating it. I did it and it looked better than I thought it would and had a lot of meaning behind it. I then thought about the man that is behind all of this and know he is doing it for companies to make more money of their internet. So, I took the guy and put money in his hand while it looks like he is talking to make it seem like he is only talking about money. I then went on talking about what it would look like if net neutrality would be taken away. I made a picture of the twitter log in page. I took text and put text over the picture saying that you do not have the package and must speak to your provider. I then also color out the log in and sign up buttons for a better effect. I then continue to keep talking about the difference after it takes effect and thought that is when I can include my video or a before and after for social media and how it would be if you did not have the package for them. The video did not take long for I just took the pictures added captions to say they were free and found pictures on the internet of net neutrality taking the apps and a quick pros list for if we keep net neutrality. I made a little nice picture where there was a package labeled social media package and I took the logos from each social media and added it to the picture to show the package. At this point I was starting to run out of ideas on how to continue my project for one more media to be included. I decided to make a pros and cons picture with everything in it on a different page so people can also get to know some of the good things of taking away net neutrality, but there are mostly bad things about it. I then looked to try to see if I can make the website look a little cleaner by organizing pages and post. Adding an image on the front scene of my logo. I also made a about me page so people can know more about me and why maybe I decided to research such a topic. They will see I was involved in computer science which includes the internet. So this will affect my major because programming is all about the use of internet and computers. I really enjoyed researching something about my major and now know the costs if net neutrality is gone. I also hope that whoever reads my post will also gain some interest.
