AC Milan still not for sale, according to Berlusconi

After another offer, this time of 500 Million Euros for a 70% share of AC Milan, Berlusconi has once again rejected the offer and denied that his club is for sale. This comes after their Milanese rival recently sold a controlling share to an Indonesian magnate, with AC Milan’s offer coming from a Singaporean business. Berlusconi, in rejecting the offer, stated that he would not even entertain jokes about such “sacred matters”. Berlusconi, who is currently banned from political activity, and is serving four hours per week in a retirement home has placed a heavy focus on his club which has been operating in the red for quite awhile. Frequent claims that AC Milan is for sale surface nearly every year, however they are consistently denied, even though many claim the club needs to influx of capital that would come from an acquisition.
