MLS and Chipotle Mexican Grill have announced their new partnership. They are going to to host an inaugural Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game which is scheduled for Early August during the AT&T MLS All-Star Week in Portland. The senior vice president of global sponsorship for MLS stated “We love the idea of the Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game and we look forward to Chipotle playing an important role in continuing to grow the sport of soccer in this country for years to come.” This deal is Chipotle’s largest sports partnership. They are in the process of setting up multiple programs for all types of soccer players. With Chipotle being such a popular brand, hopefully this partnership will help attract more people to soccer in the U.S.
