June 9th, 2023 – OSU PRS hosted their 3rd Annual Research Day.

Visiting Professor, Dr. Christine Rohde, from Columbia University gave the keynote lecture on Clinical Research Techniques.

21 podium presentations from residents, fellows, PAs and 7 poster presentations from students were showcased.

Our 2 research day award winners were Dr. Andrew O’Brien with his talk titled “Disparities in the Outpatient Care Following Upper Extremity Nerve Injury: Associations with Disadvantaged Neighborhoods” and Dr. Renee Barry with her talk titled “Does a Documented Penicillin Allergy Lead to an Increase in Tissue Expander Infection Rates in Patients Undergoing Implant-Based Breast Reconstruction.”
