My name is Joseph Nemec. I am a freshman, undergraduate student at The Ohio State University who is going to study Mechanical Engineering. I am the son of a Mechanical Engineer who has worked at TempCraft for over 15 years. I wish to be like my father, and find a company in which I can work for reliably until retirement. At the Ohio State University, I aim to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, and return to get a master’s degree if I should need it. I am a quick, adaptable learner, and do not consider myself above any task
I graduated from Twinsburg High School with a 4.15 GPA after attending for 4 years. I played football for 3 years while I was there, which made me stronger, physically and mentally. While we didn’t do well, I learned more about perseverance and integrity. During my junior and senior years of high school, I started to think about my future and what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. With my good grades, I decided to go to The Ohio State University and study Mechanical Engineering to try and follow in my father’s footsteps.
