The 2023 Naylor Lecture

The 2023 Naylor Lecture , the 25th in this lecture series, will be given on April 24 by Dr. Motoki Nomachi, Full Professor in the Slavic-Eurasian Research Center of Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan, where he currently serves as Center Director.

Dr. Nomachi’s lecture is entitled “Avram Mrazović’s linguistic thought and the question of polyvalency in Church Slavic”.

The lecture will take place on Monday April 24, with a buffet dinner offered at 5:30p.m. and the lecture itself to start at 6:15p.m.  The venue is the Ohio Staters, Inc. Traditions Room, on the 2nd Floor of the Ohio Union on the OSU campus (1739 N. High St.).
