A multi-institutional P01 Project Grant funded by the National Institutes of Health for the identification of new compounds from natural sources in the fight against cancer.

The key overall goal of this integrated multidisciplinary program project (P01 CA125066) is the discovery of compounds from tropical plants, coastal lichens, cultured cyanobacteria, and filamentous fungi to serve as anticancer drug leads. The program project has been operational since 2007, and is funded by the U.S. National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health. Summaries of the functions of the three Projects (Projects 1-3) and the three Cores (Cores A-C) of this research program are provided in the Research tab.
