Part 3: Listen and read along about the picture. 

There are two associates. They work in the stamping department. They are wearing a white uniform and green caps. To keep safe, they also wear safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection. They are working at the end of a press line. In this press line, sheets of steel are stamped into door panels. First, the associates wait for the door panels to come off the conveyor belt. Then, they inspect the panels to verify quality. After that, they stack the door panels and put them in a cart. Finally, the panels will go to the Weld Department.

Miranda:         Good. Well, welcome to the Stamping Department. It’s my job to show you the ropes. Let’s get started.

Jeff:                 Alright. Where do we start?

Miranda:         First, put on these safety glasses and gloves. The steel panels can be sharp.

Jeff:                 Right. I also put in this ear protection.

Miranda:         Ok. This is the end of the press line for door panels.

Jeff:                 So, those are door panels?

Miranda:         Yes. We wait for the door panels to come off this conveyor belt. Then, we inspect each one.

Jeff:                 Ok. We inspected this one. Now what?

Miranda:         Then we stack it on the table with the others. Now, grab that cart.

Jeff:                 This one?

Miranda:         Yes, that one. We need to load these inspected door panels onto the cart. They will go to the weld department.

Listen again. This time practice the dialogue by taking the place of the missing speaker.
