Candidacy Exam

The Doctoral Candidacy Examination in the Ohio State University Physics Department is a 4-6 week period wherein a graduate student is assigned a topic to learn about with the goals of writing a report and presenting an oral exam. Passing the examination makes the student eligible for their Master of Science Degree in Physics.
