INTERESTS

Theatre

Ever since his junior year of high school, Mylo has been involved in drama. He became a thespian the very year he started theatre, involving himself in many productions as well as working behind the scenes in set building, painting, electrical work, costume construction, and dramaturgy. Mylo plans to continue his theatrical career as far as it can carry him, hoping one day to self-produce his own personal theatre that would double as a center for arts education in hopes to inspire a younger generation and continue the vision of spreading important messages through live performance. He also participates in many smaller theatre-oriented projects such as the New Works Lab, workshops, freelance film projects, and freelance voice-over/voice acting work.

Creation

Finally, Mylo loves to get his hands dirty and make things. He has had a knack for creation since he was a child fiddling with construction paper, making his own personal cards for his loved ones when he couldn’t afford the ones in the store. Since then, Mylo has developed various levels of creation in several mediums. The largest stride of improvement came from creating theatrical sets in high school with his director. Mylo’s largest unprompted creation is his personal tarot card set, made entirely of cardstock and collages of 1949 LIFE magazine snippits. He also enjoys making stickers digitally and sells some of his work on RedBubble and Etsy for some extra pocket money. Another hobby of his is modeling and photography, meticulously planning out shoot locations, themes and wardrobe, working in tandem with his talented photographer friend, Katy Bilek, in editing and retouching the photos. More than anything, Mylo loves to make people feel in awe. He gains utter and total satisfaction from putting himself to the side just to create happiness in another’s eyes. His goal is to intrigue and invite in people with his work, hopefully inspiring other people to realize their passions and following them with all their might.
