Scholarships Available for Youth to Attend DairyPalooza

The Muskingum County Dairy Promoters have announced that they will pay the registration fee for interested youth dairy exhibitors to attend DairyPalooza this year. Please contact Dairy Promoters treasurer Pam Mitchell (740-796-3942) to make arrangements.

What is DairyPalooza?

• An all-day hands-on educational dairy program put on by a group of 4-H dairy volunteers from across Ohio

• State-certified Quality Assurance provided as part of the program, using the Good Production Practices selected by Ohio 4-H to create interactive educational sessions on each point
• Sessions on pertinent and popular dairy topics, such as showmanship, fitting and grooming, animal handling, dairy cattle welfare, dairy nutrition, milk quality, breeding, and more
• Cloverbud programs run all day and adult sessions are held during Quality Assurance in the morning, to provide all attendees with chances to learn something new

How do I register for DairyPalooza?
Visit the website to download a registration form. Pre-registrations are due by April 6, 2018. The cost for pre-registration is $6 per person. Late- or walk-in registration is $10 per person.

Both adults and youth must register for the program.

Pre-registrations include a DairyPalooza t-shirt, guaranteed resource materials, and lunch. Late- or walk-in registrations include lunch only, and will receive resource materials while supplies last
