Welcome to our collaborative blog!

The posts on this blog were all created by undergraduate students enrolled in the general education (GE) Music Cultures of the World class at The Ohio State University in the fall of 2023.

The class is intended for students majoring in subjects other than music, and for many of these students, this was the first music class they had taken in university. Yet, after a semester spent studying the many musical communities represented here, students were able to create some truly compelling posts! I hope you find their work as engaging and enjoyable as I have this semester!
