Year in Review

This past year I completed my freshman year of college at The Ohio State University.  I took introductory engineering courses and each semester I worked with other students to complete projects.  My first semester in engineering 1181 my team and I used the software MATLAB to program a toy train to run on a track under specific constraints.  In my second semester in engineering 1182 My team and I used SolidWorks and Arduino to program an AEV (advanced energy vehicle) to run on a track under specific constraints.  Through these classes I learned important problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills that I will use for the rest of my career.  Also this past year I changed my major, I was in engineering undecided but I switched to environmental science.  I am excited to see where this new major leads and where I will be a year from now.

Green Engineering Final Project

This is a presentation on Passive Heating and Cooling.  My group researched different methods of passive heating and cooling and how the methods are implemented in buildings. Also the presentation discussed the environmental impact of these different technologies.
