Overview:
Explore the past, present, and future of life in the American South. This MUNDO Road Trip focuses on how social justice issues such as societal inequality, racism, and exclusion continue to shape life in Atlanta and Savannah, GA (as well as other communities).
Highlights of this experience will include:
- Walking tours
- A visit to the First African Baptist Church
- Visits to Civil Rights Museums, exhibits, and centers
- A tour of the Atlanta History Center
- A planned meeting with Ohio State faculty living in the South
- A chilling ghost tour
- And much more
The cost of the experience is $385.00 which includes transportation, some meals, housing, admission to scheduled events and a few surprises.
