2)  Primary Means of Communication and Expectations

State your team’s agreed upon various means of communication and expectations for response.

(Example:  All members will be expected to read emails from anyone in the group on a daily basis and respond in less than 12 hours.)

– All members should respond to texts within 12 hours of them being sent

-All members are to be expected to make time in their schedule for meetings to finish group work

-All members are expected to complete their induvial tasks on time(Assigned in group meetings)

3)  Scheduling of Meetings (Schedule at least one meeting as part of constructing your team agreement.)

Agreed upon means of scheduling meetings.

-Team agrees to discuss after class, or via text when the next meeting will be held to finish group work

(Example:  Team will agree, at the end of each class, to set any meetings times and agenda needed before the next class and beyond if possible.  Team members will take turns to send out a reminder of the meeting with an agenda within eight hours after the class.)

-Go over what needs to be completed by the end of the next 2 weeks before thanksgiving break, and then assign different work to each group member to do individually. This will disperse the work, and the meeting will allow everyone to understand what they are supposed to be doing.

 

4)  General Responsibilities for All Team Members

 This element of the team working agreement is the list of rules/agreements or the contract that all members agrees to live by.

All group members are required to work on the assignment in a fair manner, and complete assignments in a respectable time frame. This means that a group member should not finish their assignment the morning of the due date, and all the work should be shared in a fair way. All group members are expected to respond in a timely manner to text messages and attend all the meetings unless a valid reason is given.

5)  Specific Team Member Responsibilities/Deadlines

This section may be used to record specific tasks or responsibilities particular team members have assumed.

6)  Conflict Resolution

1.If there is a problem address it with the individual first and try to find a resolution.

  1. If step 1 doesn’t work then try to have a group discussion and work the problem out.

3.If 1 and 2 fail then you can move to having a discussion with either the GTA, or Professor, and work out a solution.

 

7)  Expectations of Faculty and GTA’s

If a problem arises the faculty should be able to step in and help resolve the issue, as well help with any issue that arises.
